Sairee Beach:

Located on the west coast of the island, Sairee Beach is Koh Tao's longest beach and one of the most popular. With plenty of restaurants, bars, and accommodation options, it's the perfect place to base yourself during your stay on the island. Phoenix Divers Koh Tao is also located on Sairee Beach, making it a convenient location to book your diving adventures.

Shark Bay:

Despite its name, Shark Bay is a great spot for swimming and snorkeling. This secluded beach is known for its stunning coral reefs and abundance of marine life, including blacktip reef sharks. Snorkeling gear is available for rent on the beach. The Haad Tien who have a resort on the beach charge 100thb for entry but will allow you to use their wifi and bathrooms whilst you visit this beautiful beach.

Freedom Beach:

Accessible only by boat or a short hike, Freedom Beach is a hidden gem on Koh Tao. With crystal clear waters and soft white sand, it's the perfect spot for a relaxing day on the beach. The beach is also located next to a beautiful viewpoint called Jon Suwan, so make sure you check that out too.

Tanote Bay:

Situated on the east coast of the island, Tanote Bay is a peaceful and secluded beach. It's a great spot for snorkeling and diving, with an impressive coral reef just a few meters from the shore. There are a few restaurants and bars on the beach if you need a break from the sun. Tanote bay is our favourite spot for snorkeling and even has a big rock that you can climb and jump off.

Sai Nuan Beach:

Another hidden gem, Sai Nuan Beach is only accessible by boat or a 20-minute hike from Mae Haad Beach. With its calm waters and picturesque surroundings, it's the perfect spot for a peaceful day on the beach. There is a brand new beach bar there serving refreshing drinks and delicious food so there is no need to bring drinks or food with you.

Aow Leuk Beach:

Aow Leuk Beach is one of the best beaches on Koh Tao for snorkeling and diving. With its clear waters and vibrant coral reef, it's a great spot to explore the underwater world. There are a few restaurants and bars on the beach if you need a break from the water. Around April-May you can snorkel with baby blacktip reef sharks that you will find in the shallows in both corners of the bay.

Hin Wong Bay:

Located on the east coast of the island, Hin Wong Bay is a secluded beach with a thriving coral reef just a few meters from the shore. It's a great spot for snorkeling and diving, with plenty of marine life to discover. There are no restaurants or bars on the beach, so be sure to bring your own food and drinks.
