We hope this Songkran brings you lots of smiles, good luck, good health, and plenty of time with the people you love. Songkran is Thailand’s traditional New Year celebration. It is a time for fresh starts, family, fun, and of course… lots and lots of water. What began as a gentle tradition of pouring water for blessings has grown into one of the biggest and most joyful celebrations of the year. Here on Koh Tao, that means sunny days, wet streets, big laughs, and everyone getting involved. If you’re on the island, you are very welcome to come and join the antics at AC Beach Bar 2. Expect water fights, good vibes, and the usual Songkran madness. Whether you’re diving with us, celebrating with us, or just passing through Koh Tao, we hope you have an amazing Songkran.
